• One Prenatal Education Session - 60min 
  This education covers topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, proper latching techniques, and understanding the baby's feeding cues, which can significantly enhance the breastfeeding experience. Additionally, this consult provides information on managing potential challenges, such as engorgement or low milk supply, and offers strategies for nipple pain relief and comfort. By fostering confidence and preparedness, prenatal education helps parents establish a strong breastfeeding relationship from the start, ultimately benefiting both mother and baby in terms of health and emotional bonding.

• One Initial Consultation - 90min  
  An initial consultation typically includes a comprehensive assessment of the mother and baby's breastfeeding journey. During this session, Kimberly will gather detailed information about the mother's medical history, previous breastfeeding experiences, and any specific concerns or challenges she may be facing. Kimberly will observe a breastfeeding session to evaluate the baby's latch, feeding patterns, and overall effectiveness of breastfeeding. Additionally, she provides personalized recommendations tailored to the family's needs, which may include techniques for improving latch, addressing pain, or enhancing milk supply. The benefits of this consultation are significant; it empowers parents with evidence-based information, fosters confidence in their breastfeeding abilities, and establishes a supportive relationship that can lead to a more successful breastfeeding experience. *This consult will also include an oral assessment, flange fitting, weighted feed, breast pump set up, bottle recommendations (if needed) and more!

• One Follow Up Consultation - 60 min
  A follow-up consultation is essential for monitoring the progress of breastfeeding/infant feeding and addressing any ongoing concerns. During this session, Kimberly will reassess the mother and baby's feeding dynamics, evaluating improvements in latch, positioning, and overall breastfeeding technique. This follow-up allows for the identification of any new challenges that may have arisen since the initial consultation, such as changes in the baby's weight gain or feeding patterns. Kimberly can provide tailored guidance on optimizing breastfeeding practices, including strategies for managing growth spurts or developmental milestones. The benefits for infants are substantial; consistent support helps ensure they receive adequate nutrition, which is crucial for their growth and development. Additionally, ongoing consultations foster a nurturing environment that promotes bonding, emotional security, and a positive feeding experience, ultimately contributing to the infant's overall health and well-being.

*Once your baby is earth side Kimberly likes to schedule your initial consult 1-3 days after the birth or when you are comfortably home and ready to travel. Your follow up visit is usually scheduled 1-3 weeks after your initial, depending on concerns and evaluations. If you need MORE THEN ONE follow up with this package there is a $100 fee for each subsequent visits.
