About Kimberly
My name is Kimberly and I’m a board certified lactation consultant, IBCLC and owner of Embracing Lactation LLC. As a private practice IBCLC I serve families with breastfeeding/infant feeding concerns in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire.
My dedication to lactation and infant feeding comes from breastfeeding our four boys, each having their own struggles. With our second he had a lip and tongue tie that were released at 2 years old due to eating and swallowing issues. The release resolved those issues almost over night. Our third son experienced severe reflux and reoccurring ear infections. These experiences drove me to research and self study to figure out how to best support them and ultimately leading me to becoming an IBCLC.
In my private practice I specialize in exclusively pumping and milk donation. My extensive knowledge of pumping comes from my experience as a gestational surrogate in 2019. I carried a baby girl for a local family and pumped for the surrogate baby and local families. I donated over 10,000 ounces of breastmilk in roughly 18 months. Some of that milk was donated to a milk bank that supplied milk to micro preemies. Their donation process was very extensive. The whole process was very complicated but very rewarding.
I support all avenue of breastfeeding and infant feeding. I believe all families should have access to lactation support and shouldn’t feel inadequate due to their feeding choices.
In my free time I like to spend time outside with our four boys enjoying our beautiful property. I love a good true crime story and a late night horror movie. I’ll never pass up a gathering of friends and family for a campfire and my favorite place to be is at the beach!
I look forward to meeting you and your baby and supporting you through your infants feeding journey.
“Kimberley is amazing! We have seen her two times already and scheduled a third visit and looking forward to it. Her package deals are also nice as they cover everything in one visit and all one cost. My son had a lip and tongue tie and she diagnosed right away. Also had good tips and recommendations on latching l, pumping building milk supply and much more! I would recommend her to anyone!”
